Treponema Book Review

Writing in the journal Microbiology Today Isabelle Saint Girons of the Institut Pasteur, France, describes a new book on Treponema published by Caister Academic Press as "an essential reference for students and scientists in microbiology and immunology". She continues to suggest that "this comprehensive review reveals the main breakthroughs of research on pathogenic Treponema that affect public health worldwide".

Other reviewers have also heaped praise on this book, edited by Justin D. Radolf and Sheila A. Lukehart. It is pleasing that the first comprehensive review of treponemal research to be published in more than twenty years has been received in such a positive manner by the scientific community. This book will be a major resource for many years to come.
