The 10th BAGECO conference will focus on bacteria in the world around us, and the implications of a changing climate and other anthropogenic influences on bacterial genetics and ecology. Climate change is now accepted as a serious challenge to global ecosystems, but the extent of its impact on bacterial communities has only begun to be explored.
